Getting Started with SecurityCreds

SecurityCreds is an enterprise-grade password manager that keeps your credentials secure with zero-knowledge encryption. This guide will help you get up and running in minutes.

What is SecurityCreds?

SecurityCreds is a secure password manager designed for individuals and teams. It uses client-side zero-knowledge encryption, meaning your passwords are encrypted on your device before they ever leave it. Even we can't see your passwords.

Creating Your Account

Setting up your SecurityCreds account takes just a few minutes:

  1. Visit the registration page
    Go to app.securitycreds.com/register.html to create your account.
  2. Enter your details
    Provide your email address and create a strong master password. This password is the only one you'll need to remember.
  3. Verify your email
    Check your inbox for a verification code and enter it to confirm your account.
  4. Set up encryption
    SecurityCreds will guide you through setting up zero-knowledge encryption and generating your recovery key.

Important: Save Your Recovery Key

During setup, you'll receive a recovery key. Store this in a safe place! If you forget your master password, this is the only way to recover your data.

Adding Your First Credential

Once your account is set up, you can start storing passwords:

  1. Click "Add Credential"
    From the dashboard, click the "Add Credential" button or navigate to Credentials > Add New.
  2. Fill in the details
    Enter the website name, URL, username, and password. Use the password generator to create a strong password.
  3. Choose a vault
    Select which vault to store the credential in, or use the default vault.
  4. Save
    Click Save. Your credential is now encrypted and stored securely.

Pro Tip: Use the Password Generator

Click the dice icon next to the password field to generate a strong, random password. You can customize the length and character types.
